    The Pamlico MERV 13 is an extended surface, pleated air filter, created to provide low initial resistance, high dust holding capacity and low pressure drop. The MERV 13 is a great choice for applications that need to be upgraded from standard minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) 8 and MERV 11 air filters. The MERV 13 filter which traps more than 98% of airborne particles is perfect for commercial use. The filters were constructed to las longer than a traditional MERV 13 air filter depending on the indoor environment. The MERV 13 air filter has been UL 900* certified.
    The MERV 13 has a durable, moisture-resistant, beverage board frame with wire-supported media. It is held in place by a heavy-duty two-piece die cut frame, and has diagonal grid supports for added strength. The MERV 13’s media is an electrostatic media designed for use in elongated surface pleated filters. The media has been engineered to remove up to 98% of airborne particles.
    The MERV 13 air filter should be anywhere that a high level of indoor air quality is required. A few of the many places that would benefit from a MERV 13 air filter are commercial buildings, food and beverage facilities, hotels, hospitals, colleges, and schools as well as many other indoor environments.
