This is a very fine condition used 1960 campaign post card asking to vote for the re-election of Congressman Wayne Hays to represent Ohio's 18th district. In the message he writes: "When you elect a man to Congress, actually you send a family to represent you in Washington...". He is shown with his wife who he would divorce in 1976 to live with his mistress Elizabeth Ray , who was famous for saying "I can't type. I can't file. I can't even answer the phone". Hays served from Jan 3, 1949 until resigning on Sep. 1, 1976. His biography and the sex scandal from Wikipedia is included.
